Depth Anything V2 (Small) — on-device depth

AR specimen relief uses monocular depth estimated on your device by Depth Anything V2 (Small) by Lihe Yang et al., with a Core ML conversion by Apple. Photos used for this step are not uploaded for depth estimation.
