By downloading or using RockVaultAR (the "app"), you agree to these Terms of Service.
You may use RockVaultAR for personal, non-commercial purposes. Don't reverse-engineer the app, don't use it to harm others, and don't try to defeat the in-app purchase system.
Rock identifications are produced by automated image classification and are provided as-is, for educational and hobbyist use. They are not professional gemological appraisals and should not be relied on for valuation, safety (e.g. asbestos-containing minerals), or commercial transactions.
RockVaultAR offers the following in-app purchases through the Apple App Store:
Auto-renewal. Subscription payment will be charged to your Apple ID at confirmation of purchase. Subscriptions automatically renew unless auto-renew is turned off at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. The renewal price will be charged within 24 hours prior to the end of the current period. Subscriptions may be managed and auto-renewal turned off in your Apple ID Account Settings after purchase.
Cancellation. You can cancel at any time through Settings → Apple ID → Subscriptions on your device. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period; no partial refunds are issued for the unused portion of the term, except as required by law.
Refunds. All refund requests are handled by Apple under its standard policy. Submit a refund request at reportaproblem.apple.com.
Restoring purchases. Use Settings → Restore Purchases in the app after reinstalling or signing in on a new device.
The free tier limits the vault to 10 specimens and disables some AR features. Subscribing or purchasing the Lifetime IAP removes these limits.
You are responsible for safeguarding your account credentials and for the photos and notes you upload. You retain ownership of your content. You grant us a limited license to store and process it solely to provide the service. You may delete your account at any time via Settings → Delete Account.
RockVaultAR is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we disclaim all implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability arising out of or related to these terms or your use of the app is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months preceding the claim, or $50 USD, whichever is greater.
We may update these terms. Continued use after changes are posted constitutes acceptance.
These terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which the developer resides, without regard to its conflict of laws principles.
